LEVERS
A lever is a simple machine that makes work easier. A lever is a bar that moves around a fixed point. The fixed point is call a fulcrum.
Scissors, a bottle opener, a teeter totter, crow bar, hammer, and pliers are levers because the parts travel around a fixed point and require effort.
