ENERGY
Energy is the ability to do work. Work is moving against a force like gravity.
There are many different kinds of energy and each type of energy does something different.
When an object moves it has energy. There is heat energy and light energy, too!
Kick a ball hard and it will move fast and go far. The ball has more energy. Kick a ball with less force and it will move slowly, go a shorter distance, and have less energy.
A force can change the direction of a moving object, too!
If you kick a ball on its left side, its direction will change and the ball will go right. If you kick a ball on its right side, the ball will go left.
